Let's play some HOOPS!

Yes, it's that time of year again! I don't know why they call it March Madness, when it's really December through March Madness! Lots of practices, lots of suicides, lots of dribbling, lots of games, lots of fun. Cassidy is just starting to learn actual plays. She is awesome at defense. Jessica is on a high school team this year, so it's a bit intense for the only 7th grader on the team. But she's learning to hold her own. They play teams from as far away as Connecticut, and they will travel to Block Island next Friday. As exhausting as it is, though, we just love the games. I sure have learned a lot about the game of basketball. On a side note, did you notice what number Jessica is wearing? Here's a hint: the greatest 3-point shooter of all time! Cassidy is thrilled to be wearing #1 this year! I didn't have the heart to tell her that they gave out the numbers according to height, starting with the shortest!
