FOUL BALL!
a meeting on the moundWell, we'll surely miss softball season. The downs: tons of rain-outs and it's only the second year that Masters has had a softball team, so they are in the midst of building their program. They don't seem to get a whole lot of respect from other teams yet. The ups: Jessica was again given the opportunity to play at the high school level. She learned so much at her position as catcher. She loved it! She learned way more than just how to play a sport, though. All those intangibles: teamwork, determination, perseverence, humility. I'm so thankful for how co-curriculars have helped shape character in my children. Can't wait for next year! Hopefully we'll be able to do a softball camp this summer.
