What a day! It was a quiet ride home.

For the first time last summer we tried Lake Compounce, in Bristol, CT for a theme park visit. We all fell in love with it. We think it is much better than 6 Flags! It is a little bit smaller, less commercial, more family-friendly with lots more staff. They offer FREE soda stations, scattered around the park, the food is delicious, it is so neat and clean. I could just go on and on. If you want to visit a theme park, I highly recommend Lake Compounce. You will be delighted, as we were. We cannot wait to go again! I heard that they are expanding their water park next year--another 7 acres--can't wait to see it!
