We had such a great day today! First, we met my sister and stepmother for breakfast at the quaintest little place in Portland. Then, I surprised my kids with a trip to Fort Williams State Park and Portland Head Light. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day weatherwise. My kids were so into the whole experience! We visited the museum and toured the old historic forts as well. You just can't beat the smell of the ocean. In the 18 years that I lived in Maine I do not remember visiting Portland Head Light. It was such a special day! I will remember it always.
